Zambian Orphans Appeal

ZOA Rome (St George's British International School)

ZOA Rome was founded here at St George's British International School in 2005. ZOA Rome remains the 'headquarters of ZOA' since it is ZOA Rome that is committed to meeting the annual running costs of the 'Serenje Orphans School Home'. The annual budget fof the orphanage is reviewed each July in Zambia during a visit to the orphanage by ZOA Rome or their representative. 'ZOA Partner Schools' also support the orphanage in various ways and, providing they adhere to the fundamental goals of ZOA and do not bring its good name into disrepute, may adopt their own Committee rules and act independently of ZOA Rome.

There have been 5 ZOA Committees so far:

2005 (Foundation) Committee: Cynthia Malu,  Alsharifa Bukhari, Alamara Bettum, Luna Ruffo, Karl St-Ange, Ben Patrick, Frank Castrovillari , Mrs Grazia Borlandelli, Mr Kevin Gilbert
