ZOA

In 2007, at the initiative of Rita, a St George's ZOA Committee person and former student of St Peter's, a delegation representing ZOA travelled to Lisbon and informed students at St Peter's all about the Zambian project. As a result, under the leadership of Ms Jackie Amoroso, a St Peter's ZOA Committee was formed. This Committee has raised funds for the orphanage through the sale of jewellery and other events.

ZOA is extremely grateful to St Peter's under their Principal, Mrs Isabel Simao, for their ongoing commitment to the orphanage in Serenje. In 2009, they supported the Concert run by the Rotary Club De Setubal-Sado, and this year they have been raising funds through donations by parents for effective parenting sessions run at the school.
