The Serenje Orphans School Home

The manager of the orphanage is Mr Alouis Mwansa, retired Headmaster of Serenje Boys Technical School.

On the 2006 trip to the orphanage a playground was constructed and a football pitch cleared.

In May 2008, the dormitory building was finally completed after long delays due to cement shortages, floods and paperwork approval.

Beds were made locally...

Despite the orphanage dormitory not being completed for nearly 2 years, the children still received regular meals on the site.
