ZOA is greatly appreciative of strong support by Rotary Club De Setubal-Sado (Community Service President Ms Carla Tavares) which is establishing a 'tradition' of holding an annual concert in Lisbon to raise funds for the Serenje orphanage. The first such concert which was held on 18 January 2009, raised over 3000 euros towards much needed building constructions at the site in Zambia. Here below is a copy of the poster advertising this wonderful concert. STOP PRESS ...the January 2010 Concert has raised 1750 euros which will be used towards the construction of the much needed security fence around the orphanage....thank you Carla and your Rotary team!

The 2010 Concert will again be held in January 2010. Any funds raised through this concert will be directed towards the next phase of construction at the orphanage, namely a library/classroom/sickbay/office block.
